Posting this here because I actually like how I look in this pic lol.
Juliet is obviously a very body conscious outfit, and it’s no secret that i’m not very comfortable with how my stomach looks. (or my arms.. or my thighs.. blah blah blah) Last year I dedicated myself to get fit for this costume. I worked out often and watched what I ate, and eventually lost a pant size. I wanted to be comfortable enough in my own skin to wear this and be proud of myself. I wanted to prove that I could do what it takes to make myself feel ok with showing off what I am most self conscious about. Yeah.. there were still people calling me “chubby” and comparing me to much more in-shape Juliet Starling cosplayers after I lost weight…but I knew that I had worked hard to get where I was and I was still proud of what I accomplished.

Met up with some fellow WoCC 2013 Calendar ladies at NYCC!!! Here I am with the gorgeous Freddie Nova, and Destiny Nickelsen. I missed a few of you who were there but I didn’t get a chance to take a pic with :( next time a bunch of us are at a con we should organize a group shot ^__^

NYCC Costume Line-up! I’ll be there all four days, but I might just go casual style on Thursday. There are a TON of very exciting things happening that I have scheduled, and I promise I’ll drop the announcements once it gets a little closer to the con. (don’t want to jinx myself) Who else is going to be at NYCC?

This weekend, with the help of my lovely friends, I made a lifecast of my HEAD!!! It’s not perfect, but good enough to use as a base to sculpt, mold, and cast my own mask for Lady Scorpion. HOW CREEPY IS THIS??? gah!
Also Nick is happy he found a friend he can share his bodyless woes with. LOL

Lollipop Chainsaw was REPRESENTING at Otakon! Check out all the lovely Juliets (Rosalind was even there <3). I also ran into a few of Juliet’s favorite characters that she likes to dress up as every now and again, and of COURSE Travis Touchdown! Suda 51 would be proud!

Just got back from Otakon!!! My first one ever and it won’t be the last. There will be more posts to come (don’t worry i won’t spam your dash), but I just HAD to make an appreciation post for the tumblr followers I ran into at the con! I love you guys so much <3 I seriously have the COOLEST FREAKIN’ FOLLOWERS look how gorgeous they all are (even the cutie out of costume ^__^) I know some of you told me your names and i’m totally blonde and forgot. HAPPY LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW DAY EVERYBODY!!!!! Yes. The day is finally here. Juliet Starling’s Birthday <3 So naturally I had to make a post about it.
Here are a bunch of pics from Granite State Comic Con that I went to this Sunday. Met some AMAZING cosplayers (BelleChere included *fangirling*) And even ran into another Juliet (she ROCKED the goth costume) And as always I had the best time hanging out with my extremely talented friends. I’m so excited I brought in a bunch of lollipops to share with my co-workers today. You should go enjoy a lollipop too!! ^__^

Thank you Gamestop in Braintree!! You have made my night! Got some awesome leftover swag from the promo stuffs sent to Gamestop employees. (given to me purely out of the kindness of their hearts.. ok and maybe a minimal amount of begging lol) <3 <3 <3 now I have a life sized nick, a nick on my cellphone, and now a nick on my car keys. I do love my bodyless boyfriend!
